The body is made of galvanized steel with a gray polymer coating. The equipment operates on the principle of water spraying: cold water is supplied to cooled forms in the form of a truncated cone from the bottom up under pressure through nozzles. The growing ice fills the volume of the cooled form, and then is doused with hot steam of the refrigerant, and the finished pieces of ice fall into the storage bin.
