How delivery is arranged
Shipping costs and transit estimates
Shipping charges depend on product dimensions, shipment weight, quantity, origin warehouse, destination and requested delivery services. Oversized equipment, remote destinations, limited-access locations, liftgate service, delivery appointments and inside delivery may involve additional charges.
Transit and handling times are estimates unless a guaranteed carrier service is specifically confirmed in writing. Product availability and warehouse processing time are verified for each order.
Receiving commercial equipment
For freight deliveries, customers should tell us whether the destination has a commercial loading dock or forklift. Please also provide receiving hours, contact information, doorway or elevator restrictions and appointment requirements.
Inspect the shipment before signing the carrier delivery receipt. Visible damage or missing items should be written on the receipt and photographed before the driver leaves.
International orders and customs
International freight charges, import duties, taxes, brokerage, customs clearance and local destination charges are normally the buyer's responsibility unless different written terms appear in the Furnibuild quotation.
Customers are responsible for confirming that the selected equipment meets local electrical, certification, safety and import requirements at the destination.
