Monoblock and split refrigeration systems for cold rooms are available in universal and low-temperature versions. The listed universal models are intended for operating ranges of -5 to +5 °C, while listed low-temperature models operate at -15 to -20 °C; one low-temperature split model is specified at -15 °C. The examples cover chamber volumes from 2.8 m³ to 32.9 m³. Monoblock units combine the refrigeration equipment in one assembly, while split systems may use separate outdoor and indoor units.
Where dimensions are provided, they can be compared with the available installation space; some split-system listings give dimensions for each unit separately. When choosing equipment, first match the model to the cold room volume and required temperature range. Then consider whether a monoblock or split configuration suits the installation and check the stated unit dimensions. This section also contains a separate Shock freezing subcategory.
