The finished product has the form of small ice plates of different sizes. Such ice is widely used in the catering industry for laying out fresh products on it. The full cycle of the ice maker consists of 2 stages: • the process of filling the working bath with water, which lasts about 5 minutes; • the freezing process, which lasts continuously. In case of sudden equipment shutdown, the flake ice maker starts working from the first stage – filling the bath with water. The device is equipped with an automatic shutdown system – in the following cases: • if water is not supplied to the condenser; • in case of a refrigerant leak; • if the gear motor is subject to increased load; • if the bin, which in this case is purchased and installed separately, is full of ice.
