Washing machine for washing root vegetables with a stone separator BOS.910 (from 1 to 10 t/h) The washing machine is designed for thorough washing of potatoes and other vegetables from dirt (for further processing or packing potatoes in nets) • For potatoes, beets, carrots • Washes vegetables from dirt • Advantage: automatically selects and removes stones • Water is supplied by a pump from the water supply system • Three types of design: 1. Combined: ferrous metal body + units in contact with water - stainless steel • Advantage: we will manufacture a machine with the productivity you need (1 t/h, 2 t/h, 3 t/h, 4 t/h, 5 t/h and more) Operating principle Potatoes enter the stone separator, where an ascending flow of water is supplied by a pump (the pressure is adjustable), which keeps the potatoes afloat and moves them into the drum, and the stones, having a density greater than that of potatoes, fall to the bottom of the stone separator and are removed at the end of the shift through the inspection hatch. At the customer's request, the machine can be equipped with a conveyor for removing stones (no more than 10 kg of stones accumulate per shift). The washing chamber is a washing bath formed by the walls of the housing and the bottom. The housing is equipped with hinged lids for inspection and sanitization, an overflow pipe for maintaining the water level in the bath, drain devices, a pocket with filter screens for feeding circulating water to the pumping unit. In the front part, there is a loading tray for the stone separator, in the rear part, an unloading tray on which the drum drive is mounted. The potatoes enter the washing drum. When the drum rotates, the potato tubers are washed from the adhering soil by friction against each other and against the drum rods and are thrown by the blades into the unloading drum, where they are showered and unloaded along the unloading chute.
