Gold/silver backings

Gold/silver backings are packaging substrates for supporting and presenting food items. With gold on one side and silver on the other, they provide two presentation color options within the same backing. The listed range includes multiple rectangular sizes, from 80 x 200 mm through 140 x 300 mm and 130 x 350 mm, allowing the backing format to be matched to the item being packed or displayed. They are appropriate for confectionery and other prepared foods that benefit from a firm base during handling, packaging, or presentation.

Choose a backing by comparing the length and width with the footprint of the finished product and any packaging used around it. Leave adequate support around the product without selecting a format unnecessarily large for the application. The desired visible side, gold or silver, can also be chosen to suit the presentation.
