This film is often called "breathable" because it has the unique property of selectively passing air components through its surface: water vapor and carbon dioxide outward, and oxygen inward. The film does not allow bacteria to develop in the packaged product, in addition, products in such packaging do not dry out, retain their original appearance and taste much longer than when packaged in PE or PP film.
